Oh what a night – PwC quiz in support of PCiP raises £16,061!

Oh what a night – on 3rd October 2019, 27 teams came together at the Crowne Plaza Hotel to do battle at the Annual PwC Charity Quiz, again supporting PCiP. The teams included reigning champions Barclays Bank.

The night kicked off with a wonderful surprise with Martyn Sullivan of Sullivan Wealth Management (Senior Partner Practice of St. James’s Place) presenting a cheque for £10,000 to support a number of identified PCiP projects. We really cannot thank Martyn and his team enough for such generousity. A further £6,061 was raised through the raffle, matched PwC funding and team entries.

The audience were also treated to the first Twofour produced corporate videos, featuring Twofour themselves and Plymouth Citybus. The first of a series of six, these inspirational videos will be screened in schools throughout the city and aim to get kids more engaged in their education and also raise awareness of opportunities on their doorstep. The videos are incredible and, again, we cannot thank Twofour enough for their huge efforts in delivering this life-changing project.

At the end of the night, the PCiP shield was presented to the Plymouth City Council team but the real winners will be the kids! Keep reading the blogs for information on upcoming projects.
