September 2025 has been the busiest September ever for Promoting Children in Plymouth and our partners.

The PCiP and StreetGames UK partnership enters a 3rd year with 100’s of children accessing free doorstep sports.

The Superkids Intervention through to Opportunity is up and running with our partner Dartmoor Zoological Society and is expanding with a second programme starting in October.

The largest rural residential programme in underway, supported by Shallowford Farm and Farms for City Children who will welcome close to 300 Plymouth children.

The Financial Lifeskills programme planning is moving along thanks to the brilliant support provided by Bloom Creative Learning‘s Sean Dixon and Laura Martin

The Millfields Inspired‘s Widening Horizons programme is up and running, with Y5 children gaining an interactive an early insight into their future career opportunities.

35 Individual Community Story Telling and Book Gifting sessions planned for October and sharing the book When I Grow Up

Volunteers from KierBAMJV, KPMG UK and Succession Wealth have supported both PCiP and partners throughout September.

3 Primary Schools are being supported by Buddy Reading Volunteers throughout the academic year.

2 Primary Schools working with Bookmark Reading Charity, with an expansion planned.

The PCiP Family Kitchen expands in a new area and links with the Keyham Green Places Food Bank

Year 7 children are being inspired by the PCiP Early Insight Career Films

PCiP Community World Book Day planning in hand and the authors booked The3Engineers Nicholas Parker and Matthew Baron as we celebrate our 5th aniversary. Perfectly timed to link in with the Department for Education naming 2026 the National Year of Reading
