Street Games Plymouth

Making sport a right not a privilege

PCiP and StreetGames believe that sport and its benefits should be a right, not a privilege. Unfortunately, for young people in low-income, underserved communities, opportunities to engage in sports and physical activities are often scarce or unavailable.

To address this gap, we collaborate with our network members and partners to unlock the numerous benefits that physical activity can provide to children and young people in underserved communities.

Working with the community to open up access to sport

In Plymouth, we coordinate a referral system that supports children and young people from various services, including schools, the youth justice service, youth services and children’s social care to access sport and physical activity.

Our partnership with StreetGames works together to connect services, businesses and residents of Plymouth to improve the outcomes of young people living here.  We work hyper locally through embedded relationships with the benefit of regional and national insight to inform our delivery.
